Great battery life but becomes defective after a year!!!!

It is great battery life, it’s an awesome device and I really love it. BUT. it becomes defective after a year. This is my 2nd one and every time after a year the power buttons don’t work, the ONLY button that works Is the power one. I wish they would have longer warranty as this is very very disappointing
